    Abstract

Abstract As the 4th revolution era led by the robots are approaching, it is becoming more important to aim the global market competitiveness through the robot ground development along with the standardization and commercialization. In this research, based on the reference studies and the design case studies, the robot’s appearance interface design factors and their level values have been established. From the appearance interface factors, the shape has been divided into four level values according to the categorization of the prototypes. The structure could be divided into the joints and the ratio depending on the existence of the joints, and four level values have been categorized and three level values based on the ratios. The size has been divided into four level values based on an adult height. The results from this research would be applied as the reference values in the follow-up researches to examine the influences of the relationship among the level values, the relationship between the user and the services.
